so dead tired after yesterday's full stretch of events, slept like a pig. my comfy bed~
results for sem 1 are out too. woke up to see whatsapp being spammed.

went over to the newly opened water theme park at RWS - Adventure Cove.
the moment we stepped into the park it started pouring. after like one ride and halfway through queueing the other, thunder started roaring. how great. rides were suspended and we just explore the place. thank goodness the weather cleared up after half an hour and everything resumed. the worst thing that could happened is a thunderstorm at a waterpark and luckily it didn't turn out that way :)

did i mention the queue to the sldies were at an average of half an hour waiting time/attraction..? and it was a weekday...

verdict of the park.
probably twice the size of www but with a smaller wave pool than www. 4 main slides attractions excluding the one that's more for kids. the best would be Riptide Rocket. i'm sure everyone who tried it would vote for that. it's a total given compared to the rest. it would be even better if it was higher. lol.

i'm pretty sure the park isnt fully opened yet.
the most interesting current available attractions would probably be the interactive pools.

Ray Bay and Rainbow Reef.
where you get to interact with stingrays and swim with fishes. we did none of those two above though.
Ray Bay should be requires additional admission tickets (not exactly sure since we didn't bother). we weren't that keen in the risk of getting stung by them.
Rainbow Reef comes together with the admission to the park. but after the stupid 罗汉鱼 bit me years ago...i pretty much got a phobia for fishes. i love looking at them so aquarium isnt an issue, but if you want me to touch them, that's another story...

another attraction would be it's adventure river (aka. lazy river) for lazy people like us who wants to just float on top and move along by the current. don't get scam by the picture above though. that specific part that is somewhat like swimming in aquarium probably only last 5meters long. but the whole stretch is still long enough (approx. 20min on float) so get a float if not you can start doing some aqua-jogging.

that's about all. for the price of $29, pretty worth the try. i love waterparks so of couse i would say that. ^^

had our dinner over at the Fish&Crab Shack located at the entrance of the S.E.A aquarium.
just a normal western-chinese fusion type that sells mainly seafood.

went over to Grin Affair to try out the cakes in cup. interesting right.
i swear we spent quite a while locating the shop and...it wasn't quite what we expected.
for a moment we thought we were at the wrong place given how its exterior & interior look like.
tried the dark chocolate one. not too bad. it looks cute but afterall it's just a normal cake. taste wise, for the same price i'm sure there's tons of better tasting ones out there. (just that it's not in a cup)
so once is enough. doubt im gonna go back to that ulu alley for a second try.

caught The Guillotines afterwards. a pretty good show.
luckily it was action-packed. if not i would have fell asleep in the theater.
