9hours of sleep after nEbO's The Quest 2013 yesterday and walking around bugis street is barely sufficient for a growing young kid.
updates.
met up for Sakae lunch buffet over at sunplaza to satisfy my sushi cravings.
love sushis. who doesnt? it's like one of the best food on earth.
while everyone's gonna be slim&pretty, i'm gonna turn into a fatass if i'm living in japan.
all the mouth-watery food everywhere. why jap why you have such yummy food. ><
met up with the guys, 8am at habourfront for nebo's The Quest 2013.
can't even remember the last time i woke up at such unearthly hours. uni is being way too slack.
bits and pieces of the amazing race.
didn't get to try the megazip. got to try the parajump instead.
if you don't know what that is, it literally means
跳楼.
from the 5th storey but at a decelerating speed.
would be better if it was higher. really.
too bad we took the wrong route and didn't have the time to complete it.
if not who knows, probably we stand a good chance of getting a 8th place.
but still, it was a rather good experience.
didn't have any photos since majority of the time my phone wasn't with me.
with aching legs, can't believe we still decided to go over bugis for a shopping trip and to try out Saveur. the affordable french restaurant that i wanted to try last week but gave up due to the mad long waiting time.
but we managed to get a seat within half an hour this time round :)
cause it's pretty much fine dining, the food are more of exquisite in quality than quantity.
most of us tried the famous duck leg confit.
it's really good. love the mashed potato mix with the soft duck meat.
even the shiitake mushrooms and orange slices taste so good.
yl tried the pork belly instead. served with green lentils and soft boiled egg.
the portion is much smaller than we thought. but taste pretty good still.
Duck leg confit. $10.90.
Pork Belly. $10.90.
maybe we came at the wrong timing, a bunch of hungry young adults that didn't even have lunch and exercised the whole day. we can almost grab anything edible and stuff ourselves with it at that point of time.
a fine dining restaurant with such small food portions was barely even enough for the guys.
but given the affordable prices, i understand why the queue is forever so freaking long each time.
worthy of more visits next time over at bugis. ^^
