Life of a Saturday

the one and only photo of the day.

met up for lunch near the boy's place. newly opened western stall at The Woodgrove.
tried the aglio olio. $7.90. initially i thought it would be the usual aglio with just garlic and chili. surprisingly the store seems to have it's own definition of aglio. there's barely any garlic but tons of bacon and mushrooms. yeah. mushrooms. weird combo but still taste rather good. a little spicy but decent.

shopped around town afterwards. got my mom her sponges from Daiso.
dinner at Marche. no photos when there's a greedy me.

had rosti with coarse pork sausage, half roasted chicken and orange juice to share.
love the rosti and it's pretty obvious that's like one of the best selling item. the queue is ridiculous.
the boy's half roasted chicken was found to be undercooked on the inside.

if there's one thing i learnt from watching Gordon Ramsay's shows, it would be NO RAW CHICKEN.
he would probably go 'ARE YOU FUCKING TRYING TO KILL SOMEONE?'
and the memes will go 'THE CHICKEN IS SO RAW, IT IS STILL CROSSING THE ROAD.'

requested to roast the half eaten chicken a lil longer but they replaced him with a new one. lol now that's good service. the second one was better thankfully otherwise the chef gonna get sacked.

back to starbucks. met up with sw while jl&wl popped out of nowhere. original plan was to fix red data girl's lappy but to no avail. pretty much turned into some chatting session instead. nvm, the night is still young. :)

what we're doing tomorrow may seem stupid to some but who knows it could be really fun.
we should just try all sorts of stuff right now when we are still young. when you still have the energy, the time, the looks, the figure, everything. before it fades away and we get sucked into the life of a typical adult. ><
