monday

the first thing in the morning, i supposed everyone already knows what i'm about to say,
i woke up and rolled in bed around 8plus as usual. fiddling around with my phone, scrolling through the emails, whatsapp messages that people left overnight. the only difference was, it was all about the same thing - Mr Lee Kuan Yew had passed away that morning at 3:18am.

it didn't really hit me at first. my eyes were barely even opened. i started scrolling through facebook like i've always did every morning and it was then that i realised what was happening.

after all these days of mourning, penning down our condolences, praying that he is finally reunited with his wife, truly, Singaporeans have become more bonded than ever.

it's times like this when people finally appreciate the things that someone has done for them and now it's our turn to do something for others.

the kindness that were displayed throughout this period of time. the gratitude that were expressed. the sense of belonging that we weren't even aware of. there were so many touching moments that really showed how bonded our small little country can actually be.

his hard work for the past 50 years are indeed paying off, for this is the country that he wanted to achieve.

i hope Mr Lee sees this, i hope he sees what Singaporeans are really capable of.

aside from the really sad loss, was supposed to meet up with the girls that day.

our original plan for the day changed due to unforeseen circumstances so we ended up catching Insurgent.

it wasnt tooooo bad but was fucking draggy in the first half of the film. the second half was the more interesting one. the ending was pretty unexpected but still at least there was a sort of closure. in fact, i was more interested in the walls all along since the first movie. initially before the movie started, jl and i were saying that the divergent series kinda resembles Psycho-pass, not the guns but the fact that the people were under the control of a faction system like sibyl system. at the end of the movie, we were wrong, turns out it was more like mazerunner + shingeki. LOL.

went over to sw's place to slack afterwards while waiting for ape. and ended going to Woody Family Cafe beside semb park.

was really spoilt for choice but you pay for the quantity. so it wasn't that cheap but for the ambience and decent quality food. it was pretty worth it. since it was a monday night, there weren't many guest around so we got the couch seats. took some polaroids and got caught in the act while trying to finish up the banana card for sw. lol. next time please spend longer time in the toilet. Happy Birthday! hope the herbs are working. LOL.

thursday

finally decided to go for a dental check up after what possibly seems like two years?
settled on Royce Dental clinic located opposite Innova jc. if i'm not wrong, my dentist was Mr Ng. he was a pretty gentle dentist and gives a clear explanation about the steps. all i remember was him saying "don't be afraid" for countless times throughout the check. lol. dental checks aren't really my thing. especially when i know it's gonna hurt of course i will start squeezing my hands. lolol.
it actually doesn't really hurt. compared to the facial extraction that i've done. this was no kick.

with the blue CHAS card, i didn't know it was so highly subsidised that my entire trip only cost $7.
and i've done scaling and cleaning as always. previously it cost nearly a hundred bucks.

the card is gonna expire in 2016, shall put it into good use and go for my routine dental check up every 6months. subsidies are a really good incentives for people like me who dislike dental checks.

just had to include a botak mao picture for the day.

friday

finally did some catching up for ma4001. though progress is slow at least better than being stuck at the 2nd topic for ages.

the boy came over to chill. kinda forced him to chill with me since he seemed rather stress about his business major stuff. i'm such a bad gf, getting the boy to slack with me instead of letting him home to study. lol. but i really felt that he needs to have a good rest and get out of his 4-walls in school.

had dinner over at woodlands checkpoint for Yanji seafood soup. the crayfish soup as usual was yummy goodness.

saturday

tuition was cancelled so i had the entire day. did more catching up for ma4001, finally i'm done with plc. omg so slow.

went to the Sembawang GRC tribute area outside civic center. took this photos a few days back in the morning so there wasn't any crowd. even though it was more crowded by the time i went around evening, the queue was actually very short. people are just gathering around and possibly reminiscing the past.

dinner treat at Paradise Dynasty afterwards. good food in my tum tum. look at our chubby faces.

now i'm back home with no mood for any school work.
probably gonna laze in my parents room soon for our daily dose of movie. while i fold the pile of clothes for my family. no idea when did folding clothes became my job in the family lol.
