L'OREAL PARIS EXCELLENCE
Monday, December 9, 2013
first attempt at diy hair dyes. the boy picked out Intense Ruby Red (P46). the package contains an instruction manual, a protective serum, developer, dye and conditioner. it's the protective serum and conditioner that makes L'oreal looks more appealing than other brands. anyway, the whole process was a tad tedious. without the boy's help im gonna take ages. the application was the most troublesome. thank goodness i cut my hair short if not i would never consider doing this. poor boy had to flip through my thick bush of hair, stained his shirt as a result. so sorry. >< tried washing but the dye isn't coming off. shall see if the washing machine does any magic. waited for half an hour before washing the dye off my head. my toilet looked like a crime scene of some murder flooded with red water and splatter of red droplets everywhere. even though the bottle is small but the conditioner is enough to last for at least 3days. end result was pretty good. i wouldn't say that it's better than salon. obviously you pay for the quality. but it's decent enough to just get my head a more even out shade of colour instead of having half black half brown hair. not really dry but is definitely not as good as my hair before trying it out. colour wise, it's not exactly ruby red as shown on package. it turned out more like mahogany brown. mixture of reddish, purplish brown. photo doesn't show the colour so i didn't bother taking. you will see it in real life.
