updating every two weeks is a bad idea. i can't even remember what has happened over the past week, not to say the week prior.

shared 60 lines of system 6 with clique for ang bao draw. AND WE WON...a $10. lolol. suprisingly attendance was pretty good this year. our yearly cny steamboat event.

many many impromptu things happened along the week but was too lazy to snap photos.

had mj session while waiting for sm's birthday cake to be baked. celebrated at zi char place beside semb bmf.

and that's our dung + worms cake. haha taste pretty decent despite the looks of it.

bought the grad piggy for en. hahaha it's so cute and suits her. the bear was from her teacher, the specs look so apt.

baked blueberry muffins on a random sat. and gave it to the three guinea pigs during the impromptu k session. too bad the blueberry was pretty much tasteless / slightly sour.

too many impromptu sessions happening recently. k session + mj session.

thought i should get myself a decent length dress for interview plus future potential work use. the usual white button shirt + black skirt is really too much of a trouble.

and i have finally got myself a new pairs of sandals. that's still cutting the side of my legs today. i have really thin feet skin. always blister regardless of slipper, sandals, flats. :(

tried the new mac breaded salmon burger. not worth the hype. lolol. lets just stick to filet-o-fish.

got myself a haircut back at my usual comfort place in yishun. the lady and ladyboss are patient and kind people who are really sincere in their work. you don't really have to pay huge bucks for a simple haircut.

movie with the guys. London Has Fallen. a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.

very very similar to ohf. the good guy never dies regardless of gun shot / cut wounds. but still it's probably one of the nicer movie in 2016 so far. action packed and pretty exciting.

randomly agreed to a 2d1n chalet at d'resort on sat itself. too much impromptu and efficiency.

just nice no tuition on sun and it's not like i'm gonna do any fyp on a sat. why not.

so it's just 5 of us for a random night stay at the Rainforest theme room. steamboat for dinner and more gambling session over the night. chat till possibly 7am before we had like 2 hours of sleep. first time we each had a bed to ourselves. LOL

nap a lil just now and joined my neighbour 8th floor yearly gathering event for dinner. pot luck session as always. now im back to lepaking with no hopes of touching fyp today. damn, i wanna enjoy&slack somemore. why is it back to reality so soon.

honestly, too many things happened over the last two weeks so probably forgotten some of it.

digging my memory bank now.

anyway, the week before cny. all i remembered was almost getting hit by a car at the republic poly junction behind my house. it was green light fyi, i didn't jay walk or anything. the car that was supposed to right turn towards my green light didn't stop. i assume he only noticed that there was no incoming car from opposite direction and decided to speed a right turn in my face. even though i saw it coming, i couldn't even react. now i understand how the phrase 吓到脚软 come about. the car was going too fast for a turn, i knew something was wrong. tried to hop forward a few steps but the width of the car was too wide, i was still in the pathway. thank goodness, it screeched to a stop beside me, already exceeding the white dotted line. like some drama but for the first time, i was really, really shocked. if a car brakes at low speed or gradually, you will never hear a screeching sound but it did, imagine how fast it was going at a right turn. i stared at the driver after he stopped but he just kept his head down. im sure he knew what almost happened...

luckily all is well.

then the next day, same junction after crossing the road safely, saw my bus drove passed me and i was only 10m away from the busstop. ran like 3 steps and sprained my ankle. LOL.

THAT ROAD IS FUCKING CURSED. or maybe my sprained ankle is to ward off bad luck from the day before.

it was my most serious sprain haiz. i was so sure my ankle got twisted near 90 degree inwards with a full running and landing impact. which is the reason why the external side of my shoes got scratched so badly.

on that exact same day, it was thu, we had company dinner. japanese buffet at En Dining. the salmon and beef are yumz. when i say company dinner it just means 2 full time staff (one is the boss, the other is my supervisor) + 3 part timers (me for the weekday and another two girls for the weekend). hahah so the company dinner is made up of only 5 of us. even though we have such a small team but everyone's really nice. if they ever offer me a full time job maybe i will just ditch potential 4k for this.

so i limped for two days before recovering in time for cny haha. thank goodness i have a flexible ankle.

simple reunion dinner on cny eve. first time reunion dinner over at our house because father's side everyone busy with their own families. so we are the only ones left. persuaded ah ma to let blackie come over accompany maomao. hahaha. mao was overly excited on that day.

cny day 1.

a good reason to 买新衣，穿新衣. this year very thrifty liao, only bought like the top and skirt plus another dress for day 2. hahah everything else was old.

so it's the usual cny routine. yishun ah ma hse > distant relative house > holland ah gong house > father's friend house. catch up catch up session everywhere. and the usual questions hahaha.

doggy at father's friend bungalow house. look so fierce but actually even more docile than mao.

the road along private houses are usually quite narrow, so that day several cars were parked along the road side outside the gate. then suddenly an unknown lady drove by and bang into one car that skidded foward to hit a bmw which had seriously good brakes so my father's van right infront of the bmw was only like few cm away from getting hit. but the other two cars that got damaged belonged to my father's other friends. the lady tried to reverse and run but engine died, air bag released and spewing smoke already. seems like she was very arrogant and didn't wanna settle privately so the insurance people and police came. not sure what happened in the end though. 3hours later they were still taking photos and recording statements.

cny day 2.

as usual another day of routine events going from temple to temple before visiting another relative house to conclude my cny cycle.

two days of visiting am already shagged.

back to work on fri after a loooong break. had a random dinner and gambling session afterwards. mojo's luck was too good or more like 克死 yl. hahaha. another impromptu dinner&ksession on sat.

yay we finally settled our grad trip and booked the air tickets!
so it's gonna be an aus trip from 15th June to 1st July. weee. which means the boy comes back in mid may and i will be flying off in mid june. seems like we literally wont see each other for half a year in 2016.

and our valentine's day was spent on skype and a game of gem td. LOL.

13 hours difference 就是这样。

went to 883 clinic to do simple blood test this morning. just for a check. it was my first time getting poke by a needle ever since the mandatory vaccination we had in primary 5. i never had any other vaccination since then either. so i literally covered my eyes when she drew the blood for the valve. it took the doc quite some time cause she couldn't find my vein. even after tapping my arm, she said it was either too faint or too puny. LOL. turns out the fear was more scary than the pain itself. results will probably be out in a week.

supposed to meet fyp prof right now. but decided to postpone it to next monday instead. tried to write some report introduction but no...i need some serious motivation. fyp been stagnant since jan.

and so my part time job has officially started since last week.

working at a furniture showroom. almost like a one-man job handling the on-site sales. it's a small start up company with a really nice young team of people. :)

had our trio outing since ages. went to Lola's cafe. but we arrived at a 不三不四 timing where they only served desserts and no mains. had some truffle fries as starters and chat all the way till dinner before we had our main course. so basically we hogged the seats for 4 hours straight. lolol.

met the guys for a trip to bugis on monday. explains the cheap cheap fish&co student deal during lunch hours. shop around for cny stuff before we proceed to the main purpose of the day.

thank goodness we got a prawning expert with us. otherwise, i can foresee a zero catch for myself. not bad got two for the first time but no balls to detach the prawns from the hook. we just left everything to yoshi lol. 15 prawns from 3 rods in an hour seems like a pretty good deal eh.

went for career fair on tues. had no idea wad i wanna work in the future still. maybe i will just accept anyone who wants me and that the place is located within mrt distance with a pay of min. 3.2k.

tried painting my world map. my sketch was sooo good. #bhb but it is really so good. one rare occasion that i'll have the patience to sit and draw every single detail. but the watercolours kinda ruined it. :( sad. the paint didn't flow as well as i wanted it to be.

so it has been a month since i've last seen the boy. time flies but to think that there's still 3.5months to go. hurr. 13 hours time difference means that while i'm sleeping he would be awake, while he's sleeping, i am awake. and the only time when we're both up, i would be working or he would be schooling. hurhur. it's really not that easy to find a common time for us.

anyway, got him to buy an A&F shirt for me. didn't expect the foil to be so shiny LOL.

bought Little Mix concert ticket in singapore on 23rd May at The Star Theatre. lol sudden impulse after watching this awesome live show by them. they aren't really my idol not that i have any either. but i do love the fact that they are really that good even when it's live. so i guess this is not considered an impulsive buy? lolol. YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS.

met clique to try out HDL yesterday. 50bucks for a meat feast with superb service. just that i guess once is enough? my pocket not that deep ah. and still in the midst of saving up for grad trip considering my bank is only left with two digit now.

caught Dirty Grandpa movie afterwards. can't believe Zac Efron did everything that he has done in the movie. what happened to the pure&innocent High School Musical? seems like we've all grown up. LOLOL.

dyed my hair today using Liese Maple Red. the colour turns up purplish-orangey-red under sunlight but dark without. not sure if it would last another week till cny. hopefully it does.

so that's about it. some updates for you guys about my still pretty mundane but happy life. :D

oh the reason why u didn't see any updates on fyp was because i didn't bother to touch it for the last two weeks and i've postpone my tmr's meeting with the prof till after cny because i've nothing to show him. LOL. #fypisachore

omg. there's sooo many backlogs to clear before i can proceed onto 2016.

shall quickly bring you guys through my last two weeks of december in 2015!

tried baking the bread + egg + ham + tomatoes in a muffin pan recipe. turns out pretty well but halfway through i kinda wanna slap myself for not just frying an egg and kiap between my bread. why go through all the trouble of cutting the ham&tomamtoes into smaller slices, placing it into a muffin tin and baking it. why i 自找苦吃.

went to the Popular Book Buffet warehouse sale on xmas eve with the girls. holy shit, the amount of people. we spent more time queueing than searching for books. ended up getting 4 books since each is only less than $2. so cheap. but im still not a book person. tried reading it but gave up after a few pages. never was a book person, never will. anyway that chinese book is for my mom. not me. lol.

had a pretty good meal at Montana cafe located in PoMo. but we didn't try the signature instagramed dish. tried the smoked salmon carbonara which wasn't too bad but abit too gelat.

went to Hideout afterwards for some console gaming. cheapcheap when there's the pie for 5 deal. but sadly most of the games are for 4players. we tried a battle game which was pretty fun haha. have no idea wad the heck we are doing.

did some painting before meeting clique for our xmas party. selling my abstract art pieces for 10bucks each. cheap cheap.

had steamboat session for our christmas party. not sure why but every gathering has turned into a steamboat event for us. it almost feels like cny everytime.

and not forgetting our xmas exchange which buff and i lost to a stone and had to wash the dishes. look at all those dishwashing liquid, bleach and handsoap. sibei 用心良苦 sia they really hate to wash the dishes so badly. that was possibly the most retarded exchange ever but maybe the most hilarious one of all. this bunch of peeps never fail to make my day.

met cy and jl on sun for dinner. tried the multicolor xlb and it pretty much taste the same as the original. only some subtle difference which was negligible. tried once and enough. some catching up session and we forgot to take our very rare group shot. :(

anyway side track abit, there's this half black half white face cat loitering around my block everyday in the evening. apparently it's trying to follow anyone into the lift and i had to try to get it out. sometimes it gets to my 8th floor and loiters around the corridor. if i see you again, maybe i shall call you oreo?

and off we go to bali with this retarded bunch of peeps~

stayed at Villa Teko near north kuta. pretty good location though further away from the beach. it was a pretty good deal. and we have a very friendly housekeeper who makes breakfast for us everyday. yay.

the trip was much more fun than i've expected. we were pretty meh about flying off like no feel but turns out this boot-camp-like journey was filled with much new experience and definitely better because of you guys.

cant believe i'm back to reality and it's one last semester of fyp + job hunting + 4months of virtual dating + grad trip + idk what else is there during the later half of the year.
