Hectic week

life's awesome when fri-sun arrives. time for fun, play and laughter.
been going out and enjoying life so much for the past three days it feels like as though i'm part of the "waiting for uni" batch.
thursday
the guys came over for coursera. thanks to them i managed to finish it. haha.
manhattan deals for lunch.
friday
eid meeting in the morning before meeting this two again for swimming session at jesc. too bad only one slide is open. most of them i'm just lazing around the pool. love the feeling of soaking in the water but still, unless i've googles with me, i can't swim in peace. opened my eyes underwater for a few times even though i was wearing contacts. so scared it will damaged my eyes. T.T while the guys swam idk how many laps since i lost count. pretty much only completed 1.5laps myself. so pathetic. lol.
went over to the three malls at jurong east. Jem, Westgate & J-cube.
had our teabreak at Griddy gourmet waffles. too bad i forgot to take a picture of the waffle icecream in a saucepan. kinda cute idea. the waffle burgers are pretty tasty too.
yc joined at night. more coursera and chatting session.
climbed out of bed early in the morning for this. started joining The Quest event by nebo since last year which was the 2013 version of amazing race around Sentosa. the crowd for 2013 was ridiculous. there were like tons of ntu, nus and secondary sch kids. ah. but last year winners were a given. obviously the 20+years old will outrun the 12+years old kids. this year's event is modified after The Hunger Games. but the crowd seems to be generally much younger. seems like this time round smaller size is an advantage.
the main battleground is Archery Tag. the participation fee was worth it just for this.
finally got a chance to shoot real arrows. so fun! though we really sucked at it hahahah.
too bad we got eliminated in the first two rounds. and the tribute games were a little too lame so we kinda just ditch the event and left in the afternoon.
went to bugis for our late lunch at Nanxiang Steambun Restaurant. dimsum~ caught this afterwards. Need For Speed. a brainless racing movie that gets exciting only at the later half of the show. wasnt so bad as to receive a one star rating on rotten tomatoes but at most i will probably give it a 2.5. at least there was some thriller and comedy. waiting for Divergent to be released! looks like another trilogy of hunger games. gotta get up early and finish my reports before i can enjoy my afternoon out again. this must be the most eventful week since the start of 2014.
