the mandatory shot taken at the entrance of River Safari.
truthfully speaking, the animals you see at the start wasn't really fascinating unless you're some reptile, amphibian or fish lovers.
love this shot taken at the entrance of the panda enclosure. it has that "mystical" feel.
my main purpose of the trip. FOR THE RED PANDAS.
omg, look at their freaking adorable face. maybe they kinda resemble dogs that's why. haha.
and the two fat lazy pandas - Jia Jia and Kai Kai.
JJ is soooo shy most of the time she's just emoing at one corner.
lucky us managed to get free photography session with the ginormous pelican.
lunch over at Mama Panda Kitchen.
the food was really too bland for our liking. the red bean panda pau was pretty good though. you can't complain much about the prices there. afterall, it's a place meant to suck money off tourist.
no more photo since my camera battery died. so no photos of boat ride, fox, manatee and all the feeding sessions. ><
our $5 per pax per try boat ride afterwards. you will have to book your time slot when you purchase the tickets at the counter. only a short 5-10minutes ride. with several plunges so you might get a lil wet in between. yeah unlucky me got splashed right in the face.
but the ride was really too short and not worth the $5. regardless people will still purchase the tickets since there really isn't much you can do/see at the River Safari. you can pretty much cover the whole place in less than two hours. unless you're like us who followed the guide and walked slowly, had our lunch and strolled to our boat ride. we pretty much stayed there from 10am-1pm.
the weather was soo bad that all the animals were just lazing around, basking under the sunlight.
one good thing about the panda enclosure was the air-con.
most area at River Safari are either sheltered or indoor so you can skip the hats and shades.
thank goodness we didn't have to walk under the scorching sun.
tips: we reached there at 9plus and the guide was still at the start of the route so i assume the tour starts at 9am. the tourguide will explain about the various animals and bring out certain animals for you to touch and take photo. follow the guide and you'll get to see several feeding sessions too so don't miss out on that. ^^
went over to SSC for another ksession. buff VS yl. hahaha. the results of the day was too shocking and fucking funny. been a while since i've laughed so hard.
dinner at chomp chomp. no time to take photos. too busy savouring all the heaty and fatty food.
explains why i'm having a sorethroat now. T.T greedy girl.
