Week 4

so one fine day i had a htht session with the boy and realised that my life is so fucking boring. and so he recommended me to find a new hobby or interest. initially thought of doing up a blogshop again since somehow i think a inner part of me still desire running my own store. i feel like i always got the urge to "manage something". i just don't know what that something is yet.

also thought of taking up hairdressing courses since it is a really useful skill to learn but omg the course fees are...scary. then i went to check up on culinary classes. omg that isn't any better considering one class for one dish cost nearly a hundred. imagine the course fee for learning a full course meal.

and so i came to the conclusion of buying a new oven to learn some cooking/baking skills on my own instead. went to courts to check out the prices and the person recommended me this iona brand 18L oven for $66.

went back to do more research about it and apparently there isn't much reviews on the types of oven out there. the common brands are Cornell, Tefal and the best would probably be Rowenta. but the price of Rowenta is really too far out of my budget. and came across a comment regarding the iona that the glass deformed after one round of toasting. that sound quite bad.

but i finally manage to find one that has decent reviews and is at an affordable price too. Tecnogas TEO3400 42L. apparently forum says that harvey norman sells it at $130. that is a very good deal so i'm gonna check it out tmr before meeting the guys.

the problem is my kitchen shelf don't even have that big of a space now. :(

anyway, friday was a tiring day. completed my work for the day in the morning and went off to Taiseng to send my sister's asus lappy for repair. after that went over to bedok to send my lumix camera for repair as well. by the time i got home it was already 3pm and was starving so bad that i gobbled down a packet of sushi and a pocket size chicken chunk from dip-n-go.

since i had too much time to spare before meeting the girls. finally brought myself to try on some of the make up products i've gotten from Luxola. since i've bought it, i gotta use it right?

look like a ghost but still i applaud myself for the effort haha. my right eye has this half perma double eyelid nowadays and it's not fading away. explains why that eye looks larger than the other. sad me. see the double eyelid tape in the second pic? that thin sticker actually works quite well but it doesn't hold more than 2hours sadly.

went to Koh Grill and Sushi Bar for dinner. thank goodness we made reservation beforehand. the queue was really bad. tried out both generation of shiok maki. and we still preferred the first. the sauce is the holy thing that makes us come back for more.

some shopping around town before we concluded the day with a happy stomach.

more shopping tomorrow with the guys. for the time being, my eyes are so tired. nites people.
