had our first baking session with the boy. my man slave for the day haha. bought the ingredients from Phoon Huat at Marsiling, the baking store that has almost everything.

wanted to make soft cookies like the ones from subway. followed the recipe and our first batch probably had too little flour, the cookies were so soft it got burnt and stuck on the paper. talk about a wonderful beginning. pluck some out to try. omg...one bite and i had to drink a cup of water. it was so fucking sweet.

halved our sugar and added another half cup of flour. now it became butter cookies with crispy exterior and soft interior. it actually taste quite good but maybe a little bland since we cut the sugar by a hell lot. but it turned out decently well although it wasn't what we intended to make haha.

shall try out other proportions next time and chocolate cup cakes too :D
