looks like the year end bali trip is happening. lolol.
bangkok in july, bali in dec. i thought i was supposed to be saving for grad trip next year?
and here i am still splurging on food everywhere. oops.
met the boy for wafflicious tuesday. can't believe half of that made up my dinner for that night.
guess i was too busy rushing home from work, do some chores, rush out for waffles and rush back to do more chores since my family will only be back after midnight that day.
end up when they come back still say "why i never do this, why i never do that."
was so pissed at that point in time. so all four of you left to enjoy yourself at genting and here i am doing all the chores that you told me to. having to wake up at 6am and coming back home from work at 7pm. now u all come back still dare to complain i never do additional chores? wtfffff.
tsk. i have already done all those that you told me to. u still expecting more? people need to learn to be more appreciative of what has been done. seriously.
of course all is fine after i angst them and they ended up doing it themselves. hahaha.
so a moment of impulse led me to buying SJCAM SJ4000 WIFI @ $99.
the promo price is too tempting that i momentarily forgot about saving for grad trip. HAHA.
i know it's an old model, released in 2014, but it has very very good reviews as an alternative to gopro. possibly one of the best replacement. though comments mentioned that audio sucks. i guess video is more important than audio?
wait till it arrives then shall test it out at bangkok.
so the $99 is inclusive of all the accessories as stated above.
only thing is that memory card and monopod are not included.
wanted to opt for self-collection at marymount but ended up misclicking on the delivery $5 instead. lol nvm. shall save me the trouble then.
met the boy and went over to bugis+ to visit We're The Furballs.
having been to two dog cafe at korea, kinda curious how the one in singapore would look like.
okay. it's actually very different than the ones in korea.
no tables and chairs. you really either sit on carton look alike benches or sit on the ground. the ground is very clean so no worries.
guest are not allowed to bring own pets unlike the ones in kor.
so these are the residential dogs including another two new addition that are not on the board. so apparently all the dogs are small-size female dogs. even the largest dog is only a bulldog size. it's the leader of the pack called bui bui. not hard to recognize cause it's really damn bui (fat).
so if you really like small dogs, you can consider visiting the place. it's only $10.90 for 2 hours. do not necessarily have to buy any drink. very very cheap compared to cat cafe in sg.
word of advice: probably because we went in the afternoon (230-430pm) all the dogs are having their nap time and none of time are moving around. so maybe you should opt for night time or right after they open the shop at 12pm to play with the dogs.
oh anyway. there are only two kinds of dogs there - lazy ones or greedy ones. LOL.
since the lazy ones would always be sleeping on some other guest's thigh like the one below.
so if you really want to play with the dogs. go buy a packet of small dog snacks at the counter and i swear all the greedy dogs will swamp to you.
but i guess it has become a habit for the dogs there, they will only go over to you if you have food. otherwise, they won't even give a shit about you. this is actually very different from the ones at korea. the dogs are so active at korea, they will keep running around and smelling every new guest that comes in. the ones at WTF, really dont give a fuck.
anyway, the guest-culture differs as well.
as a new customer, it was quite obvious the moment i went in, there are several guest who are regular customers that have already accustomed themselves with the dogs. and apparently regulars will hog the dogs and keep them in their laps throughout. the only time i see them letting go of the dog is when they had to leave. so basically there are only 9 dogs there, 5 are always hogged by some guests.
i know the dog is sleeping soundly in your lap, but don't you think it is fair to let other guest have a chance of interacting with the dog as well?
so only mochi came over and wanted to sleep in our laps but we let her down so that an angmoh couple who sat beside us have a chance of interacting with mochi too. shouldn't that be the case rather than hogging one for yourself?
which boils down to one last tip - BUY A PACKET OF DOG FOOD.
so that you can at least attract the remaining 4 greedy ones.
otherwise, don't even think of playing with any.
haha. will i go back? maybe, maybe not.
there isn't any big dogs which im more interested in.
the lil dogs are cute too but the guest-to-dog ratio is really too high.
Genki Sushi for dinner afterwards. omg yumzzzz. love love love the salmon there. it's really one of the best. gonna treat my family to marsiling salted egg crabbies and the boy to sushi after getting this month pay. was considering whether i should treat a $30 cheapo sakae buffet or $30 for ala carte sushi. now we know. ala carte sushi $30 at Genki is definitely better. lol. can't wait till my pay comes in which probably need another two weeks time.
