hi guys, life is as hectic as it can be right after the end of IO.

but it's already the last day before Y4S1 starts. noooooo. time is passing too fast.

Wednesday

Gel Pedi+manicure in the afternoon. some pampering after 2.5months of work. loving my nails.

speaking of work, we haven't gotten our last month pay still. :(

my poor bank now is barely surviving.

met buff & zhao to change our money for the bkk trip. dinner at Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. the best shiok maki still.

Thursday

met the guys for Mission Impossible movie. it's awesomeeee! totally recommended.

mj session afterwards. finally my luck seems to have improved. yay. lol.

the guys went for supper while i napped 2hours before meeting the girls at 3am.

6am flight means reporting at airport at 4am. what inhumane timing. but scoot is by far the best budget airline imo for all the leg space there is.

so off we went to bkk for 5D4N. everything is on the video posted at fb. knew that i will be too lazy to do any blogging afterwards so maybe next time i shall just make good use of sjcam and video everything. :D

we stayed at The Berkeley Hotle Pratunam, main tower at 27th floor. it was totally worth the bucks. loving everything there and would definitely choose back the same hotel next time. provided the promo price is still there. lol.

Wednesday

back home on wednesday midnight. went back to ntu but ended up with not printing anything. thank goodness i brought my laptop along so spend the time editing bkk vid while waiting for the boy to end his itp meeting.

Thursday

it was a nua sai thurs.

kinda forgot when was it, but cwp had firework display on either thu or fri night. yay for live fireworks right outside my corridoor.

Friday

the start of jubilee weekend. weee.

woke up at 5am to meet the boy for mac breakfast before heading down for our walkathon. turns out 912 disappeared for 45minutes and the boy finally cabbed over. so we left cwp at 7am when the event was supposed to start at 7. lol.

reached mbs at 8+ and turns out the event has to start. apparently, walkathon never starts on time. lol. the guest of honor just arrived and we managed to start off on time. but all kiasu ppl including us just detour and decided to collect our goodie bags first before continuing the walk. lol.

after the 4km walk around mbs which doesn't feel like 4km at all. too short or too busy admiring the surroundings. all the sg50 decorations around.

caught Fantastic 4 movie. omg it was a joke. everything was awesome right until the point they master their powers. behind was bullshit. please don't spend your money on this.

Saturday

had tuition in the morning. met the guys for supposingly an Art Science Museum tour. but turns out a whole lot of singaporean had the same plan for the day. reached mbs at 2pm. the queue was 3hours long and last entry was 6pm. ditched the plan and went over to bugis instead.

so we ended up roaming around bugis+ and junction. played the ufo catcher game and managed to get myself a fake winnie the pooh whose tag actually says it's called "Little CuCu". wtf.
so i got myself a little cucu for $1. hahaha. tried a second round to upgrade my prize but failed. $2 for this is more worth it than anything i've won during the jap trip.

played the ring toss game after dinner and won myself a marshimaro. LOL. that day was a fucking lucky day. look at all my animals. 4 out of 5 are won from such games lol. so i've got a wolf from korea, a dog and white round thing from japan, and now, a little cucu and marshimaro from spore. welcome to my collection.

dinner at Seoul Yummy @ Bugis+. army stew was okay. actually everything was pretty decent. but korean food never had the "WOW" factor to me. except the real jjm we had in korea, i've never found any korean food in sg to be so yummy that i would wanna go back again.

and the night was weirdddd.

met up with the others for drinking session at sw's crib with a very weird combination of people and we ended up with two drunkards. hahaha. joke of the day.

Sunday (National Day)

Happy National Day to Singapore! still my favourite place. even with all the complaints and certain cock ups that occurs occasionally, it's the safety and variety of this wonderful place which we are so proud of, to call it our home.

but as all singaporean knows, public holiday is the worst day to be outside. the crowd will swallow you whole and turn you into sardines.

so my jubilee weekend and today are spent lazing around at home and watching all the free channels on tv. :D
