omg been missing for a month. where do i even start. pardon me for my unedited photos cause i'm plain lazy. just wanna have a short record of whatever that i remember / picture of.

salmon birthday celebration for sw. with 90% help from my sis, managed to finish the salmon cushion in a 3hours time. just because we wanna save like $20. lolol. Tenryu dining located at some ulu condo. the chef actually fulfilled our request of making a salmon cake! he even gave us additional 5 slices + 1 beer for free. that is a really awesome place with great food and service. will be back again. finally a group shot with the girls and an upcoming krabi trip with full attendance.

went to ilight@marinabay with pt job colleague from florida. i think she got quite a shock at the amount of people and why the fuck do we have to queue for like every single thing, from hot dog buns to carnival games. lolol. welcome to singapore.

been spamming gemtd so much recently that we even mastered a new map. hurray. but still can't pass the fucking 42 levels. -.-

went shopping after ipl appointment one fine day and forever21 decided to leave me a present.

so my jeans came home with the tag and i tried all sorts of method to ply it open which obviously failed. so mom to the rescue and she burned it off with a lighter. lolol. #leavealldiytomom and yeah, it really works, burn the plastic top away and it reveals the long needle inside, by then it pops open pretty easily.

caught bmvsm. omg, you won't believe how bad it is until you watched it with your own eyes. i mean it has decent graphics obviously given the amt of budget. but why does it feel so...meh. dc films really can't compare to marvels.

steamboat session. yes yes, again. as always. i think you will find steamboat photos in every post BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING MY CLIQUE DOES.

steamboat + gambling every single event. or even when there's no specific occassion. we will steamboat and gamble like as though it comes together.

but still, it's nice to gather once in a while and joke around. even if it's a monthly thing, kinda nice to see everyone together again. okay maybe not full attendance yet but one day it will be. lol.

prata buffet with the guys. omg this is a very bo hua buffet. even though it's just $7.90 free flow out of roughly 15 selections. i mean how many pratas (flour to be exact) can you savour in 2hours time.

bought a random coat from qoo10 that's so freaking huge and heavy. maybe this will weigh 1kilo and takes up 1/4 of my handcarry. but i likey~ aussie trip here it comes.

the boy and a creepy looking bear from coca-cola. that place seems sooo coool from what the boy said. you get to try all sorts of drinks from all over the world under the brand. and they have such interesting merchandise / souvenirs.

did some random watercolour painting after some time. oh man, why is it my background paint always dries up sooo fast. is it my paint? my brush? my paper? or is it just me. LOL.

OH OH OH. and i got myself a new bed! from my job lol got staff discount. i'm finally elevated from the ground. because the boy said 穷人才睡地板 so kept urging me to get myself a proper bed so i won't be poor in the future once i started working.

lol sadly because im superstitious af. decided to listen to his words and get myself a bed. just nice my job is actually selling them. i mean, what kind of coincidence is this. i need a bed, i got myself a part time job, and my job turns out to have a separate company that sells mattress+bedframe. whuuut.

no, i didn't apply for my job because i wanna leech the staff discount for a bed. i didn't even know they sell it. lolol.

so i guess that's about it for the month of march?

it's already mid apr now. AND THE BOY'S COMING BACK IN A MONTH'S TIME OMG.

of course i'm excited. it has been like 3.5 months since i last saw him in end dec. but i guess i'm doing pretty fine on my own. hahaha. doesn't really feel thaaaat long maybe because i have been distracting myself with pt job and other outings. no, i don't even wanna include fyp as a distraction. it's just pure torture.

speaking of fyp, my oral presentation is on 11 may, 4pm. so nice of them to give me last day and potentially last slot. fml. but whatever, the boy's coming back on 14th. so once i see him, i'll know that my sem is all over. :D

not missing fyp at all, just...the life of a student.

continuing from where we left off. went to meet prof last wednesday regarding fyp. so it seems like i got the entire holiday to update my report and hopefully conduct some experiment of another brand of jelly. imma so lazy...and this holiday is packed with outings and events so based on my calendar, i practically only have 19th to 23rd december free to do my fyp. omg.

wanted to go swimming on thu only to find out that the woodlands pool is closed in the morning on every thu. suey max. only realised that when i reach the gates so went over to the boy house to nua instead. and that is he doing soldering work on a faulty gc. miraculously it works after that. wow, i got myself a handyman. LOL.

we were supposed to go swimming in the afternoon, the pool opens at 230pm and around 2pm it started raining. i mean thunderstorm. 老天爷 just don't want to let me exercise that day...

and so... we tried again on friday morning. hahaha.

the boy and his sis joined. if one lap is considered as to and fro, we only managed to swim 4laps while his sis swam 8laps. we must be getting old...not to mention i felt light headed and nauseous aftewards. blehh.

went to meet the girls afterwards with muscleache everywhere.

so all of them came for dinner without letting me know. haha it's nice to see everyone gather after the entire sem. dinner at empire state with really good dish. seems like we've been to empire state so many times that we already come up with a list of the best dishes there - teriyaki chicken pizza, chilli crab pasta and grilled chicken fettuccine. yumz.

and sw baked the white chocolate cheese cake and madeleine for us. house wife material in the making. calling for any potential guy who is interested in her to pm anyone of us and we will relate your feelings to her. if u too direct later scare her away so must go through us first. hahaha. must act like you got no ulterior motive hor.

stayover at ape's place afterwards. girls talk till 3am before we k.o. and woke up at 7am cause everyone has to leave around 730. shag max. went home and slept till noon. oops i was intending to wake up at 10 but failed.

flea session at amk on sunday morning. another 7am event.

sold our books, toys and clothes at $1-2. everyone is selling around that range. fucking cheap. but earn sooo lil. at the end of the day excluding the rent, we only earned like $35. so it's $7 for each of us. one entire morning and only earned $7. even a macdonald staff earns more than that. hahah. i guess main point was to experience such flea event and to clear some space from our shelves.

went to look after couz's cat afterwards for the following three days. and got some battle scars from her. cat are really beings that i cannot understand what are they thinking or trying to do. so after rubbing his body against my leg it suddenly scratched me. oh and it's the kind of scratch that actually bleeds. not deep nor painful thankfully but it made me a little more reserve towards her compared to previously. sad. this just makes me love dogs even more cause no matter what you do, the dog will NEVER make you bleed. at most a light bite on the hand with teeth marks but never blood.

had 12A xmas gathering on monday at sm's condo function room. ordered domino's and had our gift exchange session. 13 came out of 18 which was pretty amazing attendance. catch up session with everyone and i got myself a set of body wash & lotion. the most useful thing would be the bath lily.

met the boy for lunch on tues. tried The Chicken Rice Shop for the first time and actually the original chicken rice is really pretty good. although pricey but it taste as nice as the one at yishun. so if you are lazy to travel all the way to yishun, you can just settle for this lol. the butter chicken was their special menu which wasn't that good imo. don't bother paying that much for a plate of fried chicken bathed in butter sauce and you can save yourself from some fats.

was supposed to do fyp on wed. turns out had an impromptu trip to orchard with the boy and his sis to look for their xmas exchange presents and to get a birthday gift for my mom. oh my poor neglected fyp.

was pretty bored before meeting the guys on thu so randomly painted that night sky. pretty screwed up cause the colors didn't flow as well as i've expected. my paper always dry up so quickly.

met the guys and had laksa at yishun before catching Keeper of Darkness.

due to the lack of interesting shows recently, we ended up watching a horror one.

thank goodness it wasn't scary at all. turns out to be somewhat of romance instead. lol

and so the boy came over today to deliver some sushi for lazy me who is busy editing my fyp again. but im so lazy to do it right now. shall leave it to 19-23th. i will die of boredom if i were to stay at home for the entire day regardless whether im doing fyp or not...

weeeee. it's the holidays!!! ...minus the fyp.

long time no update so im just gonna spam you guys with photos.

so the boy's paper ended on first week friday. and we went to celebrate hahaha.

went to safra to collect a watch, chongpang to get contacts lens, over to IT Fair and didnt buy anything, back to bugis for our favourite sushi place - Genki Sushi!

love love love the salmon there. probably the best! norwegian salmon taste so much sweeter than your regular ones out there. and the chawanmushi is one of the nicest too. #highlyrecommendedplace

blackball afterwards. that day was a feasting day. anyway, i dont rmb blackball signature being like this. you can choose between ice and grass jelly. has it always been the case? i thought all along it was...ice. that's why i didn't really like it since the ice will melt and everything becomes bland. now that there's grass jelly it's so much nicer. or it was there all along but im just dumb and kept ordering ice. :\

and the following days were spent mugging for my consecutive three papers. and woohooo it ended on wednesday. means thu onwards was party time~~~

went over to the boy's crib for some xbox fun on thu. haha. tried halo co-op. but actually it's just him shooting and me missing. never really played controller games when i was young so pretty much suck in it hahaha.

last art session on thu. no regrets joining the class! it was fun amidst all the studying. like two precious hour for me to enjoy my hobby. don't really have much determination to paint at home. and i dont really have much patience to begin with.

anyway, met up with the girls for dinner at nus. korean beef rib soup. nice nice. reminds me of the ox bone soup we had in korea. if only ntu have like half of the food choices in utown...

and so we completed the tulips painting from the week prior. yay. i like my pink cabbage.

haha and if you are wondering what's with the frame, met the boy on fri and went over to ikea. partially for the food although main purpose was to get some frames so that i will be motivated to start painting some good artwork to hang it up in my room.

and how can one forget about food when one is in ikea. chicken wings, meatballs, hotdog bun, icecream, nasi lemak, lamb shank. wew. best of all - chicken wings. lol. the meatball isn't as tasty as before. and the rest can't go wrong.

was contemplating between two cheapo pinkish frame or one thick black frame that's so ex. :( why they purposely sell black frames so much more expensive than the colored ones. maybe next time really need to buy the cheapo colored ones and spray black paint. this time round...i just can't resist black. so for the entire trip... i only got one frame at the end of the day.

impromptu dinner session with the clique and all missing souls reappeared. hahaha.
had bmf at sunplaza. wow it became so atas compared to the one opposite ssc. and tuktukcha afterwards. the small pieces of toast are quite nice. accidentally chased people away before we dominated the entire truck in the middle. lol.

went over to yoshi's place to discuss about bali plan. ended up as usual talking about every random topic one could think of...to the point of distorting a normal christmas exchange to become some penalty challenge. lolol. nonsensical bunch of peeps but maybe that's why they are so fun. :D

managed to pick up my brush and paint this before meeting the clique. alot can be improved on but sadly we didn't learn how to paint 3D. need to learn from youtube liao. simi light and shadow.

family outing on sunday plus the boy. booked tickets to the two conservatories at gardens by the bay. haha turns out im not really a plant person. so that will probably be my last time going to any of the conservatory.

thank goodness the crowd wasn't too bad. and we got to take photos with the gingerbread man. haha.

and weather was decent that day so we got to explore the christmas wonderland event. there were carnival games and each game cost $4. number of tries depends on the game itself. so we tried two games, bball and the stack-up cans. the boy managed to clear the top two rows of cans but had four remaining. everyone in my family air-ball for all tries. HAHA. IT'S IN THE BLOOD.

and so we waited for the "Blizzard" session because i wanted to. hahaha.

which is just bubbles and foam as expected but it was sooooo crowded we couldn't even make it into the compound. didn't know everyone likes fake snow.

met xb and friends for lunch on mon. had some japanese pork slice hotpot at jurongpoint. eh, it was pretty good although a little salty. ANYWAY, IF YOU WANT JAP FOOD, GO GENKI. if only genki would pay me or give me some vouchers for promoting them so passionately.

the boy came over to nua sai afterwards. and forced him to watch superman return with me haha.

today, went over to Kimiyo-g at serangoon to do classic gel manicure. since i've already bought the package last year, gotta use it. selected a plain pink colour. haha the boy said 便宜他们了 should have chose those glittery or shimmery one. okay okay, next time. i still got like 4 express + 1 classic to go. realised im doing it like once after every sem ends. but it's really more worth it to do pedi instead of mani since the package is for either.

had some free time before my next appointment so randomly walked into a shop for a haircut.

went to Mystique @ NEX. since there was a promotion cut+wash $24 for uni student. need to show student ezlink. they dont seem to accept school pass cause no expiry date.

so the hair stylist was Jason and initially he was doing quite well and had small chat along the way. but near the end, his colleague was probably rushing him for something so he snip a little too much off my fringe. and now it became so short. maybe because i said it was too long but he one shot cut too much off. he is pretty nice but not sure why they were rushing. :( will i go back? maybe...

so another appointment for the day was the groupon massage deal that i've bought in july. was too lazy to redeem it till today because the expiry date was coming up. went over to the amk branch and tried 75min inclusive of massage + seoulite therapy (it just means placing a heat pad over your desired part of the body). some relaxation session after finals.

everytime i go for massage session like groupon or bintan/batam/etc, it doesn't really feel much different afterwards honestly. shall probably save that and use the money for more food next time. or get the boy to massage for me. hahaha.

and that's all for the week. meeting prof tmr for fyp discussion. I HAVE NO MOOD FOR FYP THIS DEC. howwwwww. maybe i should just ask "prof for next sem i gonna find part time job so you mind let me know which day you wanna use for fyp discussion? i shall go work for the remaining days." ...like in his face?

weee. school's finally over and now all that's left are finals. i actually prefer this phase. at least i know after that 4 days of papers, it would mean true freedom till io starts. can't wait till then even though i'll only have a week before it starts.

this was my view for the past two days and it will probably be so for the next two weeks.

my font size for cheat sheet is getting so small i think whichever invigilator who's gonna walk pass me during the paper would be shocked.

our last splurge before finals was at Hot Tomato. some beefy goodness before we embrace the study week.

caught ff7. the action was definitely good as always. but what really strike me the most was the ending song. the song is so apt, it's really kinda sad thinking about it.

and so my night time has become pure slacking session. one or two rounds of game and some doodling session.

im not sure why but the colour turns up weird whenever a white background picture gets uploaded onto blogger. sad. :(
